Mladen Ivanić (, ; 16 September 1958)〔(Profile page ) at the Council of Europe〕 is a Bosnian Serb politician. He was chairman of the presidency from November 17, 2014 until July 17, 2015. He is a member of the center-right Party of Democratic Progress (PDP), its president and its founding member since 1999. Born in 1958 in Sanski Most, Ivanić has been a resident of Banja Luka since 1971, where he got his university diploma in economics. He then got a doctor's degree in Belgrade; the thesis was titled ''Contemporary Marxist political economy in the West''. His political career begins in 1988, when he became a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 2001 to 2003, Ivanić was Prime Minister of Republika Srpska. He also served as the sixth foreign minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina since it became independent in 1992, succeeding Zlatko Lagumdžija on the post, and as such was a member of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
